The Shanghai Railway Bureau expects that passengers will book 38 million tickets for the upcoming 40-day Spring Festival travel rush, which starts January 26, up 8.2 percent from last year, the bureau said in a press release Thursday. The bureau oversees the railway system in Shanghai, as well as in the adjacent Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces.
