During the first five months of the current 2012-13 fiscal year ending in June (July 2012-June 2013), the net amount of foreign direct investment in Bangladesh was nearly 12 percent higher compared to the same period a year ago, Bangladesh's central bank data showed Tuesday.
The Bangladesh Bank data showed that net FDI inflows in the first five months were recorded at $650 million, against $583 million in the same period a year earlier.
