Seventy percent of real estate development companies raised annual bonuses for their employees, the highest among all the sectors interviewed, according to the Career International survey.
"My annual bonus will be around 100,000 yuan ($16,129), much less than other employees of our company because I have only worked here for two years," a staff member of Vanke Co, who is in charge of business in the Pearl River Delta region, was quoted by the Yangcheng Evening News as saying.
The major developers in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu Province distributed over 100,000 yuan per capita in annual bonuses for 2012, the local Modern Express reported, quoting development company employees.
Signs of the property market warming-up have sparked expectation of a rebound in prices, giving real estate developers great confidence in 2013.
In December 2012, 54 out of 70 major cities saw their new home prices increase month-on-month.
