The Vietnamese women's football has been awarded two titles by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) for both team and individual, local media reported on Wednesday.

The country's national women football team was named the best women's team of 2012 and goalkeeper Dang Thi Kieu Trinh won the best female player of the year.

On the men's side, Singapore was named the best team and Thai striker Teerasil Dangda the best player. The prize presentation ceremony will take place in April in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
