Xicheng district prosecutors announced that they have charged a male foreigner on suspicion of sexually molesting a boy, the Legal Mirror reported Monday.

The foreigner, 42, was an English teacher at an educational training school in Beijing. From October to November last year, he allegedly molested an 11-year-old boy surnamed Zhou on several occasions.

Zhou was depressed when going home from school and did not tell what had happened until being repeatedly asked by his parents.

Zhou's parents called the police immediately.
