Farmers select Hami melons on Tuesday at a planting base in Hami, Northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The 10th Honey-tour Hami Melon Festival will begin Wednesday at the base, which harvested nearly 10,000 acres (666.7 hectares) of 110 varieties of the melon.
