A man was killed in the Sanlitun Jingkelong supermarket by a man who was holding two knives on Monday around 7:30 pm, the Beijing Times reports.

The killed man was the supermarket's security captain, and the suspect was a security guard working under him. Sources said that the two clashed after the suspect's wages were reduced. The supermarket shut down after the incident, citing a circuit failure as the reason.
