ASEAN, or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, was set up in 1967. It now comprises Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. As the top trading partner of ASEAN, China initiated the China-ASEAN Expo or (CAEXOP) in 2003 and promoted it to an annual event. 2013 marks its 10th anniversary, both China and ASEAN countries have embraced great achievements during the past decade. |
