At least two people were killed and one other injured in an explosion at a guesthouse in Taungoo of Bago region, southern Myanmar on Friday, official sources confirmed Saturday.

The explosion occurred at a room of guesthouse at 8:50 p.m. ( local time).

The cause of explosion is under investigation by the local police.
