North Korea repatriated six South Korean citizens and a corpse at a border crossing on Friday, South Korea's Ministry of Unification said.

North Korean state media said the group entered North Korea illegally and they were released on humanitarian grounds after the six "honestly admitted to and repented on their crimes." Yonhap news agency reported that the body was the wife of one of the returnees.
