Ever since the fourth season of the domestically made sitcom iPartment was released to online video platforms, it has continued to break web-cast records for a domestic TV series. On it's day of release, it reached a playback rate of 200 million, which grew to a total of 1.72 billion when the season finished in January.

During the Spring Festival, iPartment received a second massive wave of playbacks. The total rate on video platforms IQIYI and PPS broke 2.5 billion by February 10. 

The sitcom has broken many viewing records in a very short time. It has not only proved that the video streaming platform is now the main battlefield for a TV series, but it has also had a huge influence on the post-1990s generation and became a hot topic of discussion on the Internet.
