China edged Britain 6-5 to make it to the Olympic men's curling semifinals on Monday.
"Our goal was to get to the playoffs and I am really proud of the guys," said China's Canadian coach Marcel Rocque, a three-time former world champion.
Britain still have a chance since they will play a tiebreaker against Norway for the final spot in Tuesday's playoffs.
Sweden and Canada both reached the semifinals on Sunday.
Earlier on Monday, the Chinese women's curling team lost to Japan 5-8 but still have a chance to make the semifinals.
