Australian freestyle skier David Morris claimed a silver medal in the men's aerials on Day 10 of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games, the Australian media reported Tuesday.

The 29-year-old Melbournian won the silver with an impressive score of 110.41.

It was Australia's third medal of the Scochi Games and Australia's first Olympics ever Winter Olympics medal in the men' s aerials.

"I can't believe it's happened," Morris told Australia's Channel Ten.

"I imagined this for such a long time. I landed the last jump and it played out how I imagined it."

The gold medal went to Belarusian Anton Kushnir, who scored an incredible 134.50.

China's Jia Zongyang took bronze, scoring 95.06.
