A young couple in Shanghai was forced to seek medical assistance to remove a hard-boiled egg from the woman's vagina after a kinky sex game didn't go over easy.

Doctors at the PLA No. 411 Hospital successfully removed the egg February 23, which she explained her partner inserted in her vagina in order to achieve more stimulus during sex.

The couple, both in their early twenties, finally visited the hospital as a last resort after trying to remove the egg by jumping, using a spoon and chopsticks.

Guo Xinxin, gynecologist at the PLA's No. 411 Hospital, explained the couple had put her health at risk and was fortunate the egg did not come apart in the process.

"If not removed quickly, the egg could begin to rot and cause an infection," said Guo.
