An international women's beach volleyball tournament Tuan Chau-Ha Long opened in Vietnam's northern Quang Ninh province on Friday, state-run news agency VNA reported.

The event drew 14 teams from seven countries and regions, namely, Australia, China, Japan, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, Thailand and the host Vietnam.

The tournament will last till Sunday.
