Olympic champions Sun Yang and Ye Shiwen will take part in their third international competition in a month as the FINA short course Beijing World Cup kicks off Friday.
"It is my first short course Beijing World Cup," said Sun, who will meet Germany's 400m freestyle world record holder Paul Biedermann this time. "Although we are tired recently, we will do our best at home in Beijing."
The swimmers competed in the Asian Games in South Korea and the Huangshan National Championships earlier the month.
Ye will face a tough rival as Hungary's world champion Katinka Hosszu enters the women's 100m medley.
Rising star Ning Zetao will compete with South Africa's Olympic champion Chad Le Clos in the men's 50m freestyle.
The two-day competition attracts over 300 swimmers from 32 countries and regions.
