Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper arrived in Hangzhou Thursday evening for a five-day official visit to China and events related to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting.
Harper, who is on his third visit to China since he took office in 2006, will visit east China's Zhejiang Province, where the scenic city of Hangzhou belongs, and Beijing at the invitation of Chinese Premier
Li Keqiang.
He will also attend events related to the 22nd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in Beijing slated for Nov. 10-11.
Canada is a member of APEC, a 21-member economic forum in the Asia Pacific which also includes China, the United States, Japan and Australia.
