Brazilian soccer legend Pele is out of intensive care and able to walk around as he recovers from a kidney problem, the Sao Paulo hospital treating him said Tuesday.

"The patient Edson Arantes do Nascimento [Pele] is doing well without medical complications. He is able to walk around his room," the Albert Einstein clinic said in a statement, adding the 74-year-old is now receiving "semi-intensive" care.
