Wallabies flyhalf Quade Cooper on Friday recommitted to Australian rugby for another year in a deal that will take him through until the end of 2015.
The playmaker, who was fined a record Aus$60,000 ($49,000) in 2012 for describing the Wallabies regime under then-coach Robbie Deans as "toxic," said he was keen to add to his 53 caps.
The signing is a major coup ahead of next year's Rugby World Cup in Britain with fellow Kurtley Beale also reportedly close to a new deal.
Beale was fined Aus$48,000 earlier this year for sending an offensive text message to then-Wallabies business manager Di Patston, and for being rude and disrespectful to team management.
