London Irish were back on the recruitment trail on Monday, announcing the signing of Scotland-born scrum-half Brendan McKibbin on a two-year deal.
McKibbin has scored 234 points in 59 appearances for Super Rugby champions the Waratahs since joining them from the Queensland Reds in 2011. He was a second-half replacement for Australian scrum-half Nick Phipps in last year's Super Rugby final win over the Crusaders.
The 29-year-old McKibbin is the latest big name to join the Irish in the English Premiership. They have also confirmed the arrivals of British and Irish Lions fullback Sean Maitland and New Zealand World Cup winner Ben Franks in the last week.
