Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak on Friday extended condolences on the explosion at a warehouse in the Tianjin Port, north China.
"My thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the lives lost and injured in the
Tianjin blasts." the prime minister tweeted in his microblog.
"Deepest condolences to the people of China," he added.
The warehouse blasts, which occurred late Wednesday night, killed at least 56 people, including 21 firefighters. A total of 721 were hospitalized, with 25 of them still in critical condition. The cause is being investigated.
