China's aviation authorities expect the aviation sector to intensify monitoring of hazardous articles following this week's
Tianjin blasts.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) asked air freight terminals to separate packages containing hazardous chemicals and remove those not allowed to be carried by air.
The measures came after media reports that the dangerous chemicals which caused the explosions were not stored separately in the warehouse and may have exceeded maximum volume permitted in such places.
