Chinese PresidentXi Jinping has met with heads of state who've arrived in Beijing to witness the military parade on September the 3rd that mark the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance AgainstJapanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

President Xi met with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev who is making a state visit and will be attending the commemoration activities. The two heads of state highly valued the development of bilateral ties and agreed to bring the relationship to a higher level.

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic is also in China to attend the parade. Xi said China and Serbia made tremendous sacrifices in the Second World War

President Xi Jinping has also met with Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni. President Xi called the two countries friends and brothers. He hailed their bilateral all-around strategic cooperative partnership.

Xi also met with President of Laos Choummaly Sayasone, and thanked Laos for its support in China's commemoration activities.
