French senate voted on Friday evening to extend the state of emergency in France to three months, French senate said on its website.
The bill, which was passed by the French National Assembly on Thursday, gained 336 votes in favor and 12 abstentions.
Since the declaration of the state of emergency, 793 searches have been conducted, 174 weapons seized and 164 "dangerous" people put under house arrest, French Prime minister Manuel Valls told the senators this morning.
On Nov. 16, French President Francois Hollande proposed to the two chambers of French parliament to extend the state of emergency to three months.
On Nov. 13, the French capital was rocked by explosions and a series of shootings, which have left at least 129 people dead.
The French president declared on Nov. 14 the state of emergency across France.
