An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted 94km W of Panguna, Papua New Guinea at 22:04:36 GMT on Sunday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 56.09 km, was initially determined to be at 6.3743 degrees south latitude and 154.6314 degrees east longitude.
