Argentinean player Gustavo Bou expressed his anger at the president of Racing Club, Victor Blanco, for not accepting his transfer to Chinese club, Beijing Guo'an.
"I am angry and sad as the president made a deal with me but did not honor it," complained the forward in an interview with La Red radio station.
"The offer arrived from China, the club refused. The offer was increased but then, with a few hours left, they put obstacles up," he said.
"I want to know why this happens. It seems I am the victim here as I am now staying with Racing with the same contract, they didn't improve it," explained Bou. "Representatives from China came and we talked about the amount of the transfer. I have already said this to the executives of the club. The president went back on his word to me," he added.
Bou is the principal striker for Racing Club, one of Argentina's big five. He said that Beijing Guo'an offered "the money that Racing wanted, 8 million US dollars. Then, Blanco agreed to the transfer but changed everything with a few hours left."
"In June, I will do everything possible to move to China and for the club to be happy. However, for the moment...I will stay with Racing with the same contract and continue giving it my all," he said.
