The Le Coq Sportif Beijing Ladies Classic, the first competition in the northern China leg of the 2016 China Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour, took place at the Beijing Orient Pearl Golf Club from May 19 to 21.
A total of 132 golfers from many countries, including China, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Sweden and Australia, participated in the competition, the highest record to date among all the China LPGA Tour competitions.
Chinese golfer Li Jiayun won first place, her second China LPGA Tour win after the 2014 Shanghai Classic. "Entering this week, my shots weren't soaring. I couldn't enjoy my game," Li said. "Now, I am really happy."
