President Xi Jinping wrapped up his state visit to Poland on Tuesday morning and left for Uzbekistan, the last stop of his three-nation Eurasia tour.

China and Poland lifted bilateral ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership during Xi's visit, the first by a Chinese head of state to the Central European country in 12 years.

During his stay in Warsaw, Xi held talks with his Polish counterpart, Andrzej Duda, and met with Prime Minister Beata Szydlo and parliamentary leaders. The two sides signed agreements in a variety of areas such as finance, civil aviation and technology.

Xi and Duda on Monday attended the arrival ceremony of a CHINA RAILWAY Express freight train, which signaled increasing railway links between the two countries.

Xi also delivered a speech at the Silk Road Forum and Poland-China Regional Cooperation and Business Fora, calling on China and Poland to build their partnership into a paradigm of cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Before Poland, Xi visited Serbia from June 17 to 19. In Uzbekistan, he will pay a state visit and attend a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
