As graduate job-hunting season is around the corner, predators are now anxiously waiting for their naive prey with their elaborately-designed traps. A man surnamed Zhao from Yibin, Sichuan Province, was cheated of hundreds of yuan through one such scam. Zhao was required to pay the company 400 yuan ($60.84) for physical examinations at a local health center as a part of pre-employment "routine." However, the actual examination fees that the health center charged were only 90 yuan in total. Doctors from the health center were told to be "loyal" to the business and keep the actual prices a secret to examinees, according to media. In fact, such frauds have been growing in recent years. While authorities should intervene and strengthen supervision over the employment market, job hunters should also remember that the firm is supposed to pay you, not vice-versa.
