It has taken 16 years beginning with Global News Digest to Global Times, which started from a weekly publication to a daily newspaper. As a veteran in our team, I have experienced all kinds of difficulties in the process. Today the Global Times has reached another milestone as the English version makes its voice heard in the world as a part of the Chinese media. We are still newcomers on the road, but my colleagues and I will go all out to run this newspaper successfully.
