To infinity and beyond or straight to DVD? Shanghai speaks:
The movie poster for Toy Story 3.

"I really love how they were able to cater to the needs of both children and adults. I saw it with my boyfriend and he and I really enjoyed all of the jokes that targeted a more mature audience. For example, there was a small part of the story that focused on the relationship between a newly in-troduced Barbie and Ken. This leaned to its greater nostalgic appeal. I saw toys in the daycare that I had not seen in years. These were the popular toys from my childhood. It was a good movie that the entire family can enjoy."

"I loved the movie because the language and situations were funny and the story is great. It's much better than my other favorites, like Pleasant Goat and the Big Big Wolf. The faces of the Mr and Mrs Potato Head couple were hilarious."
Marc Campbell,

"It is quite impressive how at Pixar they have the ability to make cliché, super-cheesy plots look novel and witty. And this is actually extraordinary and worthy of praise. Toy Story 3's animation is far from impressive, however. Colors, textures, shadows and facial expressions are not all that elaborate. It looks like Pixar has made very few improvements since the first film in the series, while DreamWorks, in contrast, gives us something innovative every time."
