"The blackout really pissed the students off."

On the evening of June 22, a sudden power outage plunged the dormitories at Shanghai Normal University in Fengxian district into darkness. The blackout interrupted the broadcast of the World Cup, inciting angry students to throw water bottles and garbage from the balconies. According to the dormitory's management, it was just a tripped breaker and power was restored 10 minutes later.
