These photographic works, viewed from distance, are like traditional Chinese ink paintings. But if the viewer steps closer, it is not difficult to see the method: that they are composed of thousands of tiny photographs.

However, it's a pity that the exhibits are in a little disarray. Some works don't even have credits listed by the pieces.

More practically, some exhibits seem to have little conn ection with a city theme.

The PR manager Jolie Pan at the gallery agreed that the theme is a little far-fetched. "But the works do relate to city, more or less," Pan told the Global Times.
