 "Two people were injured within an hour falling into the same manhole."

Two women fell into the same manhole on Tanggu Road within an hour of each other on the morning of June 23 and had to be taken to the hospital. "The manhole cover had been broken for a long time, but no one had bothered to repair it or put up a warning sign," a local resident surnamed Zhou said. The police came to the scene after the accidents and covered the manhole with two cement slabs.
