Sounds of Chopin to be music to the ears

Visitors at the Expo Park will have one last chance this evening to listen to the sounds of Frédéric Chopin at the Europe Square.

Presented by the Poland Pavilion, the finale of the three-day multimedia concert titled "Chopin 2.0 - new paradigm" will take center stage at 6:30 pm, in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Polish composer's birth in the year of 1810.

Using an interactive approach by combining music, song, dance and panoramic visual projections, the concert show illustrates linkages drawn between Chopin and Warsaw, the city he grew up in, also his main source of artistic inspiration.

Due to virtual scenic designs, audiences are not only able to gain a better understanding of Chopin's music, but also parts of his biography.

Meanwhile, visitors to the pavilion today will be gifted with a Chinese language audio-guidebook of Warsaw and a mini pocketbook of Warsaw, which retraces the footsteps of Chopin.
