But visitors should keep in mind that the regular one-day tickets, unlike the designated one-day passes, will not grant them entry into the park during the May Day and National Day holiday periods from May 1 to 3 and October 1 to 7, respectively. The regular one-day tickets are also no good for the closing period that runs from October 25 to October 31.

Official sellers China Mobile, China Telecom, State Post Bureau and the Bank of Communications will put more regular multiple-day passes up for offer.

Their prices are not expected to hike: a three-day one costs 400 yuan and a seven-day one will run for 900 yuan ($132). These will allow visitors into the park on the same days as a regular one-day ticket.

So far, officials have not placed a limit on the number of tickets that will be sold during the next half-year, but are expecting 70 million visitors to descend upon the city over the months-long affair.
