Local weather authorities are predicting cloudy skies for the opening ceremony of the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai though city residents are hoping for sunshine.
But the good news is that the eve of the opening (April 30) and the day that the six-month event kicks off (May 1) should see no rain and temperatures are expected to be comfortable with a high of 25 C and a low of 14 C, according to the Municipal Meteorological Bureau.
Tomorrow, however, just days before the show starts, light showers are expected.
