Save water by flushing

Shanghai Water Authority said Sunday they plan to install a device to some 12,000 old toilet bowls at residential homes by the end of the year to help people save water on flushing.
The service will be free to promote the idea of saving water to local residents.
Shanghai has a plan to reduce water consumption from 84 cubic meters per 10,000 yuan ($1465) GDP last year to under 79 cubic meters this year. Meanwhile, the average person uses 155 liters per person per day.
The city aims to equip some 1,000 residential compounds, 50 college campuses, 6 industry zones and 130 companies with water-saving facilities by the end of the year.
