Moped racing tragedy

Police say that a moped racing accident has claimed the life of a young man. According to an eyewitness account, the 18-year-old was flung from his moped after it spun out of control during a race with some five other racers on Jintong Road on Sunday.

The rider was pronounced dead by emergency staff when they arrived by ambulance.
