TV audiences to be entranced by FIFA

Forty-eight percent of local residents will watch the opening ceremony of the 2010 FIFA World Cup tonight, according to an online survey.

The study conducted by shmail.cn, a government-supported website, which was based on 2,400 interviewees, said that 74 percent of the fans will watch the event at home, while 33 percent will share the experience with friends - a shy 3 percent will head to the bar to take in the game.
