Expo souvenirs a hot commodity

In the opening month of the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, Expo-franchised products have surpassed its target sales for the entire six-month period, exceeding 20 billion yuan ($2.93 billion), according to the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce.
Commercial sales inside the park reached over 400 million yuan ($58.6 million), achieving a daily sales average of 13.3 million yuan ($1.95 million).
Meanwhile, commercial sales for the city hit 300 billion yuan ($43.94 billion) for May, up 26 percent compared to the same month last year.
