Police said Tuesday that a man who injured a random victim over the weekend in Changning district was acting out of rage after losing all his savings at a casino in Macao.

The man took out his anger by throwing a large rock at a vehicle as it was driving by on Xuanhua Road in Changning district on Sunday. The family of the man said it will pay the victim 500 yuan ($73.65) in medical compensation and 1,200 yuan ($176.76) for car repairs.
