The new high-speed train to link the city with Hangzhou within a 38-minute ride is expected to cost passengers over 100 yuan ($14.70) per one-way first-class fare, according to insiders, reported local media Tuesday.
The Shanghai Railway Bureau, however, said that ticket prices for the route have not yet been fixed.
