Stars to shine the Bund

The World Expo International Music Extravaganza will be unveiled tonight at the Bund, Shanghai's newly reopened tourist location, to celebrate the 30 day countdown to the opening of the World Expo.
One day before the extravaganza, high-profile celebrities such as South Korean pop singer and actor Rain, Jazz singer Laura Fygi, Russian singer Vitas, who is famous for whistle register, showed up at the press conference. Laura Fygi will perform a Chinese song named The Moon Reflects My Heart, while Vitas will sing Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
According to the organizers, image ambassadors of Shanghai World Expo, Yang Lan, a Beijing talk show hostess and businesswoman, and Tan Du, the contemporary classical composer, will be present at the bund, singing the theme song of the Shanghai World Expo together with many star guests.
The music extravaganza will also be held on famous rivers tonight from around the world, including Danube in Austria, Nile of India, Hudson in the US, and the Amazon in Brazil. The show at the Bund will be televised live through SMG Dragon TV and Arts & Humanities Channel at 8:30 pm.
