Global Times: Do you think Obama will stop selling weapons to Taiwan?

Qin: The US won’t stop selling weapons to Taiwan. First, the overall and long-term strategic commitments haven’t changed. Second,the arms trade was affected by political function as well as economic interests. Third, the US hopes to keep a balance in the “scalene triangle” composed by China, the US and Taiwan.
