The Third Session of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Conference (CPPCC) will be convened on March 3, 2010, in Beijing.
The main agenda of the suggested conference is to listen to and consider the working report of Standing Committee of the National Committee of the CPPCC and the reports on working proposals since the Second Session of the 11th National Committee of the CPPCC, as well as to to sit in the Third Session of the 11th National Committee of the (CPPCC) and discuss the government work report and other documents.
The meeting adopted the list of additional committee members of the 11th National Committee of the CPPCC: Wang Zhengfu, Wang Shunsheng, Niu Youcheng, Liu Wei, Tang Lilu, Sun Xiaoqun, Li Changjiang, Edmund Ho Hau Wah, Qiu Fuhong, Erdini Qoigyijabu Huang Longyun, Huang Qingyi Xue Yanzhong. Of these new members, one, Huang Longyun, is a woman, while Wang Zhengfu is a member of the Miao ethnic minority, and Erdini Qoigyijabu, the 11th Panchen Lama, is Tibetan.
