Rainbows arch over Niagara Falls near Ontario Province, Canada, on May 26, 2018. Capable of producing over 4 million kilowatts of electricity, which is shared by the United States and Canada, about 3,160 tons of water flows over the falls daily. Four of the five Great Lakes (Superior, Michigan, Huron, and Erie) drain into the Niagara River before emptying into Lake Ontario, which combined make up one-fifth of the world's fresh water supply. An estimated 30 million visitors are attracted to the falls each year. (Photo: Patrick Gorski/NurPhoto/Sipa USA/VCG)
