A video of several men eating ice cream flavored with the famed Moutai liquor, shot at an event in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang Province, went viral when it was discovered that the video included former executive chair of Alibaba Group Jack Ma tucking into a scoop.
The owner of the newly-opened store said she didn't realize her liquor-flavored ice cream would become so popular during the ongoing fourth Taobao Maker Festival held in Hanghzou, according to a video posted by the online video company Miaopai on its website on Saturday.
The video also shows Ma coming into the store and taking two scoops of the Moutai-flavored frozen dessert. The video doesn't show whether Ma liked his scoop.
"Now I can get drunk and have ice cream at the same time," one netizen commented.
"This is a nightmare for me. I can't stand the smell of baijiu, but I will try a scoop of wine-flavored ice cream," said another.
