Wang Peiyu's ongoing Qingyinhui Peking Opera concert tour will arrive in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, on Monday.

The concert, which kicked off on August 31 in Beijing, is touring eight major cities throughout China, such as Shenzhen, Nanjing and Hangzhou, until December. 

Qingyinhui is a type of Peking Opera that differs from most Chinese Opera performances in that performers go without fancy costumes and movements, instead focusing on their singing to entertain audiences. 

Wang's concerts also differ from most traditional opera performances in that Wang first likes to warm up the audience by introducing some knowledge about the ancient art form.  

During her performance in Beijing , Wang performed eight classic Peking Opera scenes, including Sword Hidden in the Fish, about the historical assassination attempt on the king of the ancient state of Wu.
