Residents living on the lower floors of a high-rise apartment building in Foshan, South China's Guangdong Province have had enough of being bombarded by stinky excrement tossed from upper floors, and have finally collected video evidence that has initiated a police investigation.
A local resident, surnamed Ouyang, recently complained to the property management company that for six months bags of poop have been thrown to the ground from upper floors and the smelly waste has never been picked up, Pear Video reported on Tuesday.
"They haven't ever cleaned it up, and it stinks like hell," Ouyang said, noting that he has a lot of support from the community.
A property management staff member said they have sent multiple warnings to tenants and put up banners warning people not to throw objects from their window. They have even canvased every apartment asking for help in solving the dangerous poop tossing, but nothing has worked.
Residents have finally shot a video of a flying bag of poo and have used it to get police to investigate, the staff member said.
Net users are shocked and irritated by the online report, saying the person doing the dodo drop should be buried in his own garbage.
"It would be the worst nightmare for someone hit by a bag of poop," said one.
"The property company should take full responsibility," another commented.
